The layout is composed of two railroads. One is the standard gauge Colorado Western the other is the narrow gauge Aspen Junction. The CW runs on old Colorado Midland track from Leadville to Basalt with a spur at Thomasville up to a logging camp. Basalt has a dual gauge yard servicing both roads. The AJ leaves from Basalt and heads uphill to the mining district where it services seven mines.

Pets: A cat who lives upstairs.

Parking Instructions: Park in the street or in the driveway. There are no stairs but there is a slight slope down to the backyard entrance.
